UPCOMING TRIP: NEW YORK 2011
Official Policy: Team Elite Qualifications
Qualification Options
-
Classic Track:
- Must have 15 first generation breakaways for any six months in the same calendar year.
- Must be "paid as" and "recognized as" a Blue Diamond for the three months prior to the Team Elite Trip.*
-
Leadership Point Track:
- Must achieve and maintain Blue Diamond status with 12 first generation breakaways and generate a minimum of 36 Leadership Points for any six months in the same calendar year.
- Must be "recognized as" a Blue Diamond for the three months prior to the Team Elite Trip.*
- * Being paid as/recognized as a Blue Diamond three months prior to the trip means that we will always look at the three commission periods where the commission run process has been completed. For example, the New York Team Elite Trip is in May 2011; therefore, the qualification period for recognized as BD will be January, February and March 2011.
Other Things to know
- Use one or the other of the qualification tracks as outlined above. (Cannot combine tracks)
- For first-time qualifying Team Elites, qualifications may begin during the first "paid as" BD months provided the dist has either 15 G1 breaks or 12 G1 Breaks and 36 leadership Points.
- All Re-qualifying Team Elite must meet the requirements within the 12 month calendar year.
- All PEXEC/DEXECs may count as a G1 Breakaway provided there are one or more breakaway Executives in that Pexec/Dexec line.
- PEXECS/DEXECS without any breakaways in their line may not be counted.
- Being "Recognized as" a BD and being "Paid as" a BD are different. In order to be "recognized as" a BD you may not count any more than two Pexec/Dexecs on your first generation.
New Team Elite
- May begin qualification at any time during the year.
- Must complete qualification in any given 12 month period.
- In order to attend the upcoming trip- must qualify two commission periods prior to the trip. (For the NYC trip, all new qualifying Team Elite have through March 2011 to qualify. Therefore they must begin qualifications no later than October 2010.) The last month to qualify will always be announced once the trip dates have been determined.
- Distributors may not choose which trip they want to attend. They must attend the trip they qualify for.
- Since a first time qualifying Team Elite can carry qualification between two calendar years, they are not allowed to use the same qualification months for two different Team Elite Trips. For example. If a first time qualifying Team Elite uses Oct 2010-Mar 2011 to achieve qualification for the 2011 Team Elite Trip. They may not also use January, February, and March 2011 for qualification towards the 2012 Team Elite Trip.
FAQ
Q: What is the difference between "Paid as" a BD and "recognized as" a BD?
A: A Distributor can have any number of Pexecs/Dexecs in order to be "paid as" a BD but can only count a maximum of two Pexecs/Dexecs in order to be "recognized as" as BD.
Q: During the three month "Recognized as" BD phase do the Pexecs/Dexecs have to have a breakaway Exec in order to count?
A: No, the "Recognized as" BD rules have not changed. In order to be "recognized as" a BD a distributor may still count a maximum of two Pexecs/Dexecs with or w/o breaks.
Q: Can a qualifying Team Elite count Leadership Points from roll-up Execs when a G1 Exec falls-out?
A: Beginning Jan. 1, 2009 Leadership Points from a roll-up will not be counted until the roll-up Exec attains a higher title. The upline will then be able to count the LP difference between the two titles.
For example, a G2 rolls-up to G1 and is titled as a Lapis. When they advance to Ruby the upline will count the difference. Lapis (2LP) and Ruby (4LP). The difference is 2 LP which will be counted to the upline.
Q: Are the G1 level Execs counted every month for LPs?
A: Yes, the G1 breakaways are counted every month according to their current paid as title.
For example, if a G1 is a Ruby in Jan. they will count as 4 LP. If they advance to an Emerald in Feb they will be counted as 6 LP. If they fall to a Lapis in Mar. they will be counted as 2 LP.
Q: If a new dist qualifies Nov. 2007 thru April 2008 just missing the 2008 TE trip, and then also has six more months of qualification from May-December 2008. Are they considered a 2x Team Elite?
A: No, they are still a new Team Elite 1x because they have only qualified for one Team Elite trip.
Q: Can a qualifying Team Elite use a combination of both qualifying tracks? For Example can they qualify three months on the Classic track and the other three months on the Leadership Point track?
A: No, a distributor must qualify on either the Classic or the Leadership Point track.
Q: Will a BBP account count as 12 LPs.
A: No. A BBP account is 0 points.
Q: Will G2 level breakaways count who are G1 level to the parent BBP acct?
A: Yes, the G2 level breaks, G1 on a BBP acct will count for LPs.
Q: Will a Distributor still be recognized for their new Team Elite title if they do not meet the "recognized as" a BD requirement for the trip?
A: Yes, they will be recognized as whatever their new Team Elite title may be. The three month "recognized as" BD requirement is only a requirement to attend the trip.
