Viktoria holds a Master degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the University of Luxembourg  and Cand. Oecon., Economics and B.Sc.in Business Administration from the University of Iceland. For over ten years Viktoria worked in management teams of corporations in Iceland, before moving to Luxembourg.

Viktoria was the managing director for a European distribution and training center in Luxembourg when the couple was introduced to the Nu Skin opportunity.  Didrik, a successful serial entrepreneur, professional marketer, private investor and philanthropist has always been motivated and driven by his entrepreneurial characteristics and mindset.  Since receiving business diploma from the Commercial College of Iceland, Didrik has always worked in his own companies, both in Iceland and in Luxembourg. Viktoria and Didrik are married since 1983 and have 2 children, Karitas and Kristinn.

In January 1997 Viktoria and Didrik decided to join the exciting opportunities that Nu Skin Enterprises NSE has to offer and turned their dreams into goals. From the start they have always believed in building an organization with tens and hundreds of thousands of customers and business partners all around the world.

One of the best things that could happen in my life was that I came in touch with Nu Skin. In fact, I am really thankful every single day that I got to know this great business opportunity.

What is interesting is that I did not want to know anything about this business at all. I have never been interested in cosmetics, and so, I could not imagine building a promising business with cosmetic products. And neither did I believe that you could "iron away" or reduce wrinkles with a small advice called the Nu Skin Galvanic Spa. But my sponsor kept being persistant in a very kind and gentle manner. Thank god for this, is all I can say.

She invited me to visit her booth at a trade show and to enjoy a face treatment demonstration. And I tried it. When a crowd of people built up in front of the booth, my sponsor asked me if I could help her. I agreed and helped her to "iron" faces for hours, and I was very surprised to really notice a remarkable difference at each person’s skin I had treated. However, I was still not interested in this business.

It was only when she invited me to attend a business presentation, where I learned more about the company, that I was on fire. I realised that this company is solid and that I could trust it. What means, I could invest my commitment and energy for many years in this company and be sure that commissions will be paid out. I was impressed by the corporate philosophy, Force for Good, Nourish the Children, and many other aid projects - plus the financial solidity, the 5 A1 rating, the numerous Nu Skin scientists and many more.

I started mid 2006, with no money in my pocket to buy a Nu Skin Galvanic Spa or products. Fortunately, my ex-husband helped me by purchasing the Starter Kit for me, because he also had seen the great business opportunity behind it.

I set my aims high and wanted to earn a five-figure commission as quickly as possible. So, I started making contacts around the clock via phone or in the supermarket, wherever I was. I talked about this brilliant business always and everywhere, and thus magnetically attracted prospects. During the first 2 years, I worked very hard. That’s the reason why I had received very high commssion payments already in the first months.

My example shows: a "No" does not necessarily mean no. Simply stay tuned. It is all about the right time. When you are determined, make new contacts every day, overcome obstacles, work hard and are commited to your goal, you surely will be successful with Nu Skin.

Eines der besten Dinge, die mir im Leben geschehen konnten, war, dass ich mit Nu Skin in Berührung kam. Ich bin in der Tat jeden einzelnen Tag total dankbar, diese großartige Geschäftsmöglichkeit kennengelernt zu haben.

Das Interessante ist, dass ich am Anfang überhaupt nichts von diesem Geschäft wissen wollte. Kosmetik hatte mich nie interessiert und so konnte ich mir ein erfolgsversprechendes Geschäft mit Kosmetikprodukten nicht vorstellen. Und ich glaubte schon gar nicht, dass man mit einem kleinen Gerät namens Nu Skin Galvanic Spa Falten wegbügeln oder reduzieren könnte. Doch meine Sponsorin blieb hartnäckig auf liebevolle und sanfte Weise. Gott sei´s gedankt, kann ich nur sagen.

Sie lud mich ein, auf ihren Messestand zu kommen, um eine Probebehandlung zu genießen. Das habe ich dann auch ausprobiert. Da die Leute Schlange standen vor dem Stand, bat mich mein Sponsor, ob ich ihr helfen könne. Ich willigte ein und half ihr stundenlang Gesichter zu „bügeln" und war sehr überrascht, dass ich tatsächlich bei jedem Kunden einen deutlichen Unterschied sehen konnte. Dennoch war ich an diesem Geschäft immer noch nicht interessiert.

Erst als sie mich auf eine Geschäftspräsentation einlud und ich mehr von der Firma erfuhr, war ich plötzlich Feuer und Flamme. Ich erkannte, dass diese Firma solide ist und ich mich auf diese Firma verlassen kann. Also meine Arbeitskraft für viele Jahre dort investieren kann und sicher sein kann, dass die Provisionen ausbezahlt werden. Mich beeindruckte die Firmenphilosophie, Force for Good, Nourish the Children und viele andere Hilfsprojekte. Ich startete Mitte 2006 und hatte keinen Pfennig in der Tasche, um mir selbst ein Nu Skin Galvanic Spa oder die Produkte zu kaufen. Glücklicherweise hat mir mein Ex-Mann geholfen und das Starterkit für mich bezahlt, weil auch er erkannte, dass da eine großartige Geschäftsmöglichkeit dahintersteckt.

Ich hatte große Ziele und wollte so schnell wie möglich 5-stellig verdienen. So habe ich jeden Tag quasi rund um die Uhr am Telefon Kontakte gemacht oder beim Einkaufen, wo immer ich war. Ich habe immer und überall über mein geniales Geschäft gesprochen und dadurch magnetisch interessierte Menschen angezogen. Ich habe sehr hart gearbeitet in den ersten 2 Jahren und wurde dadurch schon in den ersten Monaten mit sehr hohen Provisionszahlungen belohnt.

An meinem Beispiel kann jeder sehen: ein Nein heißt noch lange nicht nein. Einfach dran bleiben. Alles ist nur eine Frage des richtigen Zeitpunkts. Wer zielstrebig ist, jeden Tag Kontakte macht, Hindernisse überwindet, fleißig ist und beharrlich sein Ziel im Auge behält, der wird ganz sicher Erfolg haben mit Nu Skin.

Und die Belohnungen sind nicht nur die sehr beachtlichen Provisionen, nicht nur die geschenkten Reisen von Nu Skin, wo man wie ein Superstar behandelt und geehrt wird, es sind die strahlenden Gesichter des Teams, die auch in ihren Erfolg hineingewachsen sind, die ihre Träume haben erfüllen können ......... das ist wunderbar zu sehen.
